Pasadena, is
the fifteenth largest city in Texas. Located on Houston’s
southeast side it is home to many of the petrochemical giants,
some of which include Goodyear, Chevron-Phillips, Lyondell-Citgo,
Air Liquide, Albemarle and many more.
Pasadena Independent School District
has 5 High Schools, 10 Intermediate Schools, and 33 Elementary
Schools. With over 40,000 students, the Pasadena Independent
School District is the fourth largest in Harris County. The district
includes most of Pasadena, South Houston and a portion of Houston.
There are also eight private or parochial schools and about 50
preschools and child development centers. San Jacinto College
and Texas Chiropractic College are also located in Pasadena.

in Pasadena ISD; however, there is a small section on Pasadena’s
east side that is located in Deer Park ISD. In this region 121
homes were sold in 2009 ranging in size from 900 square feet
to 6700 square feet and priced from $40,000 to $560,000.
